Back when I had money I had an idea to take fiber optic cable, strip off the plastic sheathe and then wear them in my hair. After such an project proved time consumptive and unfeasible for me I abandoned it. but looking at this great story from io9 about the use of Ethernet cable I'm both inspired and impressed. Just think you tech geeks and would be cyberist, lying around in your hard drive stacked, cable modem choked domiciles could be next new fashion trend.
